EV100 Campaign Manager

Role description

We are seeking a Campaign Manager to work within our London-based EV100 (electric vehicle) team. The post holder will assist the Head of EV100 in driving forward the campaign, growing our membership and coordinating EV100’s international activities across The Climate Group’s regional offices. 

Central to the success of EV100 is a highly professional approach to the coordination of a global team, design and delivery of campaign initiatives and events, and recruitment and management of corporate members and partners. 

You will be part of The Climate Group’s business action team and will also work closely with colleagues in our India and US offices, as well as with other corporate campaigns team, communications and fundraising team.

About the EV100

EV100 is a global initiative bringing together forward looking companies committed to accelerating the transition to electro-mobility and making electric transport the new normal by 2030. Launched in September 2017, it is rapidly developing into a core pillar of The Climate Group’s corporate leadership work in a key low-carbon market.

Through EV100, companies can showcase their electric transport leadership and reduce electric vehicle investment costs through best practice sharing. The campaign drives engagement and dialogue between governments and other stakeholders to collaboratively address the remaining barriers to EV uptake and infrastructure roll-out. By promoting viable business cases for EV uptake, EV100 leverages corporate leadership as a crucial catalyst for building market demand and to establish electro-mobility as a mainstream transport solution.

  • Commitment to the mission of The Climate Group and EV100  
  • Appreciation of commercial and financial drivers for businesses and NGOs  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective  working relationships across a range of contexts  
  • Solid understanding of the international climate/ low-carbon economy agenda 
  • Strong research skills and ability to analyze complex policy and business content  
  • Experience of relationship management particularly with the private sector, ideally at  senior management level
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to strict timelines and budgets
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive and able to work independently and unsupervised to deliver tasks, and achieve project objectives
  • Project and budget management experience
  • Team player with the ability to identify where support is needed, and comfortable delivering an administrative workload alongside more strategic activities
  • A strong desire to develop skills and experience in line with the needs of a rapidly developing campaign, while maintaining a solid support function


  • Knowledge and experience of electro-mobility market and policy contexts 
  • Experience of working in a global environment, working level foreign language skills are a plus


Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of the role is to support the Head of EV100 in delivering the EV100 campaign across The Climate Group’s international offices. This includes the following: 

  • In close collaboration with the Head of EV100, initiating and progressing contact with relevant companies to recruit them to EV100. 
  • Co-developing and managing sub-projects of the EV100 campaign.  
  • Holding lead relationship management responsibilities for certain contacts, regularly engaging members to enhance the quality of the relationship.  
  • Assisting with the organization and effective delivery of EV100 events, webinars and member meetings.  
  • Contributing to The Climate Group’s thought leadership on electro-mobility and identification of strategic development opportunities for the campaign. 
  • Working closely with our communications and events teams to coordinate the content and timing of internal and external communications.  
  • Coordinating the participation of EV100 and its members in climate and energy events hosted by external organizations.  
  • Liaising with The Climate Group’s corporate campaign teams and international offices, as well as relevant external partners, to efficiently deliver EV100 activities.
  • Representing EV100 and The Climate Group at events and meetings as required


You will be based in London, with occasional travel expected. 

Terms and conditions

This is full-time permanent position. We offer a salary of £30,000-£33,000 per annum based on experience, plus the following benefits:

  • 25 days’ holiday pro rata, plus public holidays
